The first historic season of the men’s futsal team in the Serie C1 league comes to an end with an excellent seventh-place finish, just one point away from the playoffs. A highly valuable result for a newly promoted team, capable of competing from the very beginning with well-established clubs and carving out a leading role throughout the entire season.
With 43 points collected over 26 matches — the result of 13 wins, 4 draws, and 9 losses — the team showed consistency, quality of play, and strong character. The 127 goals scored highlight a clear attacking identity, while the overall journey reflects a team constantly improving, able to adapt to a higher level and approach every match with determination and ambition.
Beyond the numbers, what makes this achievement even more meaningful is the human and sporting journey built throughout the season: a united group, a committed staff, and an environment that supported the players at all times, both on and off the court.
Great credit goes to the entire team, the coaching staff, and everyone working behind the scenes who made this important journey possible.
The season also marks the end of a cycle for three historic players: Andrea Acquas, Alessandro Di Martino, and Piercarlo Venditti, who said goodbye to the team after the final match.
