On Saturday, September 19, Bocconi Sport experienced a day of great sporting and representative significance, taking to the water simultaneously in Milan and Turin for two major international rowing events: the Brooks Brothers Rowing Cup and the Sebago Rowing Cup.
At Milan’s Darsena, the inaugural Brooks Brothers Rowing Cup brought together eight crews from prestigious European universities and historic Italian rowing clubs. Bocconi Sport finished the competition in fifth place, facing off against teams of significant international standing. Among the competing athletes was Nicolò Carucci, an Olympian and multiple-time European champion.
At the same time, on the Po River, the second edition of the Sebago Rowing Cup saw ten international crews compete in a multi-heat format. Bocconi Sport reached the B-final, finishing in fourth place.
Beyond the sporting results, the two competitions offered a valuable opportunity for international engagement and representation for our team, highlighting the value of sport as a tool for building relationships and personal growth, and for forging a strong collective identity.
