An historic first time at the Bocconi Sport Center
The first major sporting event of 2023 at Bocconi has concluded. For the historic first time we hosted one of the most prestigious international universities, Harvard University.
Our water polo team challenged the Harvard Water Polo Team in an exciting friendly match ended with the triumph of the important opposing team over the Pellicans for 18 to 8.
The balance of the event was absolutely positive, it took place in a wonderful setting. The grandstands were packed with over 600 people who supported our boys and helped make the afternoon even more unique and special.
The match was also the perfect opportunity to introduce the Swimming and Cheerleading teams. Furthermore, during the half time, the head of water sports at Bocconi, Carlo Altomonte, rewarding the Harvard delegates with a plate representative of the event.
