As part of the “Bocconi4Access to Education” program, the “Bocconi Sport Scholarships” aim to support talented student-athletes by removing, where necessary, any socio-economic barriers that could prevent them from accessing university education.
This initiative stems from the University's belief that supporting high-level young athletes who are eager to commit their professional growth creates value for the community and for the country as a whole.
With the “Bocconi Sport Scholarships”, the University grants a limited number of students (maximum 10 beneficiaries per year) exemption from university fees and contributions (between 60% and 100% depending on their verified financial situation) and the allocation of accommodation at a preferential rate of 50% of the full price.
Students who do not qualify for this support due to resource availability will be considered for one of the other benefits provided.
The "Bocconi4Access to Education" support scheme is highly detailed; the University will consider each application submitted for all benefits starting with the largest one up until all available resources are exhausted. The University will try and assign the one benefit that is most corresponding to the economic and asset situation assessed on the basis of the documentation submitted.
