MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

Requirements for a valid medical certificate to participate in Bocconi Sport activities.

To register for Bocconi Sport, your medical certificate must fall into one of the following two categories: 

  1. Medical certificate for non competitive sports activities with a valid ECG
    • issued by a Sports Medicine Center, a Specialist in Sports Medicine or your general practitioner/family doctor 
      IN: 
      If issued by your general practitioner/family doctor, you must also provide a signed self-declaration (download template HERE), confirming under your own responsibility that the doctor who issued the certificate is indeed your general practitioner/family doctor. Without this declaration, the certificate will NOT be accepted.
      Uploading the ECG tracing separately from the medical certificate is NOT valid. The term “ECG” must be explicitly stated on the certificate, as shown in the attached sample.
      Certificates for recreational or motor activity are NOT valid and will not be accepted.
      Certificates obtained by Virgin Active CANNOT be accepted for Bocconi Sport activities.
       
    • issued by an Italian doctor and written in Italian redatto da un medico italiano e in lingua italiana

      SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
      The medical certificate must include the statement “copia conforme all’originale in mio possesso” with the date and signature of the certificate holder.
      It must be uploaded via the you@B app, in the widget Bocconi Sport > Medical Certificate.
       
  2. medical certificate for competitive sports activities issued by a Sports Medicine Center (if you already have one, make sure it is written in Italian and is still valid)

    SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
    Upload the certificate online via the you@B app, in the widget Bocconi Sport > Medical Certificate.


If you do not have either of these certificates, from September you can book a medical visit for a non-competitive sports medical certificate with ECG.

Booking procedure:

  1. First, subscribe to the Bocconi Sport membership.
  2. Then, in the “Membership” section of the “Sport” widget in the you@B agenda, you will find the Take Care booking link.
     

Medical visits are held on the second floor of the Bocconi Sport Center, Viale Toscana 30.
