The team and the regattas

The competitive team of the Bocconi Student Sailing Team is born in a.a. 2022-2023. In past seasons the team has participated with two teams at the last two editions of the EDHEC Cup, the student sports event with more participants in Europe, in the monotype category.

Among the main events of a.a. 2024-2025 is scheduled the participation in the first stage of the Italian circuit of RS21, currently the most numerous mini-altitude class in Italy.

The members of the team have a very varied and complete sailing background with international experiences mainly in single and double dives and youth classes.

The training sessions

The team does monthly and periodic training in clubs easily accessible from Milan, the last trainings were held in Genova and Riva del Garda, on the boat J70. There are also some theory sessions and gym workouts every week to compensate for the lower frequency of winter workouts.

Results obtained

The team gains two excellent positions at the last EDHEC Cup, the athletes of the team have several individual podiums at zonal and national regattas and have participated in the most important youth competitions for single and double drifts such as European and world youth championships of ILCA/ Laser and 29er.

The goal for the future is to become more and more established in the Italian circuit of RS21 in order to aspire to the podium in the Under23 category.
